Soft plumes on a long, slender stem give this faux toi toi its easy, windswept grace. Inspired by toetoe, the native New Zealand grass also spelt toi toi or toitoi, it has the same feathery look as pampas grass but none of the fragility of the dried kind. At 94cm tall, it brings real height and movement to a floor vase, a console or a quiet corner.

Choose from three soft tones: Natural, Blush or Cream. Use one stem on its own for a sculptural line, or gather a few together for a fuller, cloud-like arrangement. Browse our faux flowers for more stems to mix in.

Why You'll Love It

  • Tall 94cm stem for instant height and movement
  • Soft, feathery plume inspired by native toetoe
  • Three tones to suit your palette: Natural, Blush and Cream
  • No watering, no trimming and no fragile dried plumes
  • A gentle, lasting gift for a new home or a friend who loves neutral styling

Styling Tips

Set a small bunch in a curvy white ceramic vase on a sideboard, next to a sculptural vase and a pleated lamp, for a soft, all-white vignette. Mix the plumes with white roses and silvery seed-pod stems for a wedding-inspired arrangement, or pair Blush with warm timber and linen for a calm bedroom corner. For height, a tall floor vase in an entryway lets the stems arc naturally. Find the right vessel in our vase collection, or get in touch if you would like help putting together a custom faux arrangement.

The plumes are styled on a stack of Kinfolk Journeys and Still, The Slow Home, with the Wavy Table Lamp in Black alongside.

FAQs

How many stems do I need?
One stem makes a clean, minimal statement in a slim bud vase. For a fuller look in a floor or large ceramic vase, start with three to five stems and mix tones if you like a layered effect.

What is the difference between toi toi and pampas?
Toetoe (toi toi) is native to New Zealand, while pampas grass comes from South America. Both have tall, feathery plumes, and this faux stem offers that soft, airy look in a form that lasts.

In Short

The faux toi toi stem is a 94cm artificial pampas-style spray inspired by toetoe, the native New Zealand grass. Available in Natural, Blush and Cream, it adds soft height and movement to floor vases, consoles and neutral arrangements, with no watering or fragile dried plumes.
