They keep hallways, bathrooms and bedrooms tidy, and the good ones double as decor when nothing is hanging on them.

Group three in a row by the door, use one beside the vanity for a hand towel, or add a rail in the wardrobe for tomorrow's outfit. Pair with a shelf from shelves and hangers or a mirror from our mirrors collection. Shipping New Zealand wide from Mount Maunganui.

How much weight can a wall hook hold?
It varies by design and fixing. Umbra's BUDDY hooks each hold up to 2.2kg, while the large Zakkia Button brass hook is rated to 5kg. For heavy coats or bags, screw into a stud or use proper wall plugs rather than adhesive.

Can I hang hooks without drilling?
Yes. Umbra's ESTIQUE over-the-door organiser has 14 hooks and needs no drilling, the SCHNOOK and BUDDY over-door hooks sit straight over a door, and the FLEX adhesive double hook sticks to smooth surfaces such as tiles.

How high should I hang coat hooks?
Around 150cm to 170cm from the floor suits most adults, with a second row at about 100cm for children's bags and jackets. Space individual hooks 15cm to 20cm apart so coats do not bunch together.

What hooks work in a bathroom?
Choose materials that cope with moisture. The Made of Tomorrow FOLD Loop Hook is water-resistant aluminium and the FLEX adhesive double hook is rust-proof, so both sit happily beside a shower or vanity for towels and robes.
