Conversation & Mindfulness Cards

Decks made for talking and for pausing. Family and dinner table question games, daily mindfulness prompts, and oracle style cards to draw one from in the morning.

A deck asks a better question than anyone does cold. That is the whole appeal: the card takes responsibility for the subject, so nobody at the table has to be the one who started it, and a conversation that would not have happened happens over dinner.

The range splits in two. Question decks are for other people, at a table, on a road trip, with family who see each other once a year and run out of small talk by the second hour. Prompt and oracle decks are for one person and a morning, drawn one at a time and left propped up somewhere you will see it.

They give well, particularly to people who already read in this area. If a book suits better, see Wellbeing & Personal Growth Books.

What is the difference between a conversation deck and a mindfulness deck?
A conversation deck is for a group and is read aloud. A mindfulness or oracle deck is for one person, drawn once and sat with. Several people own both for different parts of the day.

Are the question decks suitable for children?
The family and dinner table decks are written to be answerable by children and adults alike. Age guidance is on each product page where the maker gives it.

How do you use a daily prompt deck?
Draw one in the morning and leave it standing where you will see it during the day. Most people find it works better as a single card than as a handful read at once.

Do they work as a gift?
Well, and particularly for someone hard to buy for. A deck is small, it is not clutter, and it does not carry the implication a self-improvement book can.
