How do I make a small bathroom feel bigger?
Clear the bench, keep towels and accessories in one or two tones, and hang a generous mirror to bounce light around. Wall-mounted storage frees up floor space too.

Do faux plants work in bathrooms?
Very well, especially in rooms with little natural light where real plants struggle. Wipe them over now and then, as steam can hold dust on the leaves.

How do I organise a laundry?
Matching baskets or bins for each job, a shelf above the machine for detergents, and hooks for the things that hang. When everything has a home, the room stays tidy with very little effort.

Is decanting worth it?
Pouring hand wash, dish liquid or laundry powder into refillable dispensers and jars takes the branded plastic out of view and makes a bench look calm straight away. Buy refills in bulk and top up as you go.
