Read moreYou drink from something a dozen times a day, so it may as well be something you like holding. A good glass or mug is one of the cheapest upgrades in a kitchen and one of the most noticed.
Our range runs from everyday to occasion. Ned Collections brings stoneware and porcelain mugs, including the stackable Hudson, plus the mouth-blown Tom and Como tumblers. Papier HQ adds the fluted Amalfi water glasses, wine glasses, champagne flutes and decanter. Dishy enamel mugs and tumblers suit picnics and camping, and for out of the house there are flat Memobottles, Joco borosilicate glass cups and glass straws from Sucker.
Keep the everyday pieces on an open shelf where they earn their space, and store stemware away from the steam of the kettle. For plates and platters to match, see our tableware and serveware.
Can Dishy enamel mugs go on the stove?
Dishy enamelware is made by fusing glass onto heavy gauge steel, and Dishy lists it as suitable for gas and electric hobs, oven safe to 270°C and dishwasher safe. That makes the mugs and tumblers handy for camping as well as the kitchen.
Which Memobottle size should I buy?
Match it to the bag. The A7 holds 180ml and fits a pocket, the A6 holds 375ml, the Slim holds 450ml and the A5 holds 750ml for a laptop bag and a full workday. Replacement lids are sold separately.
What is a Joco cup made of?
Joco takeaway cups are artisan blown borosilicate glass with a silicone sleeve and a splash-resistant lid, and Joco notes good resistance to thermal shock, stains and etching. The 6oz size suits a cappuccino or long black.
Why does each mouth-blown tumbler look slightly different?
The Tom and Como tumblers from Ned Collections are individually mouth-blown with a spot pattern inside the glass, so no two are identical. Treat the variation as character rather than a flaw, and hand wash to keep them looking their best.
