How do I stop a Scandi room feeling cold?
Texture and warmth: a wool throw, warm timber, candlelight and one organic, imperfect shape among the straight lines. White walls only feel stark when everything against them is hard and flat.

Is Scandinavian style still in?
It never really left. Because it is built on function and natural materials rather than a look, it dates far more slowly than trend-led schemes, which makes it the safest base to build a room on.
