Are ceramic vases watertight?
Most glazed ceramic vases are, and some, like the Boban Vase, are listed as fully watertight. Check each product page. If a vase is unglazed or you are unsure, use a glass liner inside it or style it with faux stems instead.

How do I clean ceramic pieces?
Dust regularly and wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive scourers on glazed, matte or electroplated finishes such as our gold cloud tray, and hand wash decorative pieces rather than putting them in the dishwasher.

Do your ceramic planters have drainage holes?
It depends on the style. The Zurich planters have drainage and the Berlin planter is self-watering. Cover pots such as the Vienna are designed to hold a plant in its plastic nursery pot, so tip out any water that collects.

What is the difference between stoneware and porcelain?
Stoneware is fired to a dense, sturdy body and often has an earthy, speckled or textured look. Porcelain is finer and smoother, usually whiter, and can be thinner for the same strength, which suits crisp modern shapes.
