Enamelware has been on kitchen tables for generations for a reason: it is tough, it cleans easily and it looks better the more it is used. Falcon makes it the classic way, with porcelain fused onto heavy-gauge steel for a smooth, hard surface that holds its colour.

It cannot burn, and it will not break if dropped, though a hard knock can chip it. It is dishwasher safe, oven safe up to 270°C and works on gas and electric hobs, so the same bowl can go from oven to table to dishwasher.

Our Falcon range is small and practical: a white enamel ladle with a hanging hook, a shallow pasta plate and a noodle bowl for soups, salads and sides. Stack the plates and bowls on open shelving, and add wooden tools from Dishy for warmth.

Can Falcon enamelware go in the oven?
Yes. Falcon enamel is oven safe up to 270°C and can also be used on gas and electric hobs, so a single bowl can roast, reheat and serve without you needing to change dishes.

Will enamelware break if I drop it?
Because the enamel is fused onto heavy-gauge steel, it will not shatter the way ceramic does. A hard drop can chip the enamel surface, so store pieces where they are not knocking together.

How do I clean enamel dishes?
Falcon enamelware is dishwasher safe. For baked-on food, soak in warm soapy water and use a soft brush or sponge rather than steel wool, which can dull the glossy surface over time.

Is Falcon enamelware good for camping or the bach?
It is a popular choice for both, since it is light, hard to break and easy to wash. Our ladle has a hanging hook, handy for a camp kitchen or a crowded bach utensil drawer.
