We are not a furniture store, and this collection reflects that. These are the small pieces that finish a room once the sofa and the bed are settled: the side table that holds a coffee, the stool that moves between the bathroom and the bedside, the shelf that finally gets the books off the floor.

You will find side and bedside tables in metal, timber and fibre cement, woven rattan stools and benches, wall-mounted shelving from Made of Tomorrow, plinths and display stands, and entryway pieces such as umbrella stands. Most of it is light enough to move on your own, which matters more than people expect.

Buy the side table last. Live with the layout for a few weeks, work out where you actually put your cup down, then choose the height and shape to suit.

Yes, we deliver NZ wide from our Mount Maunganui store. Oversized items are excluded from free shipping and need a freight quote, so get in touch before ordering larger pieces such as coffee tables, consoles or benches.

What height should a side table be?
Aim for a side table that sits level with the arm of your sofa or chair, or within about 5cm below it. For a bedside, match the height of the top of your mattress so reaching for a glass is easy.

What size coffee table do I need?
Look for a table about two thirds the length of your sofa, with 40 to 45cm of space between them for legs and reaching. Our Lorenzo coffee table is 120cm long and the Nova is a 100cm round.

Can any of your tables go outside?
The Ned Collections Louis Table and the Maddison Coffee and Side Table are both listed as indoor and outdoor pieces. Keep them under cover when you can, as sun and rain will age any finish faster.
