Refund policy
Returns and Refunds
At Flux Boutique, we hope you absolutely love everything you purchase. If something is not quite right, please read the information below and contact us at contact@fluxboutique.co.nz.
Change-of-mind returns
We accept change-of-mind returns on eligible full-priced products when you contact us within 14 calendar days of receiving an online order or purchasing the product in store.
To be eligible, the product must be:
-
Unused, unworn and unwashed
-
In its original condition
-
Returned with its original packaging, tags and accessories
-
Accompanied by proof of purchase
Once your return has been received and approved, we can provide an exchange or Flux Boutique store credit. Refunds are not offered for change-of-mind returns.
We reserve the right to decline a change-of-mind return if the product does not meet these conditions.
Sale products
Sale or clearance products are not eligible for a change-of-mind refund. Provided they meet the return conditions above, they may be exchanged or returned for Flux Boutique store credit.
This does not affect your rights if a sale product is faulty, arrives damaged, is incorrectly described or otherwise fails to meet a guarantee under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Custom and special orders
Custom-made, personalised and specially ordered products are final sale and cannot be returned because you have changed your mind once production or supplier ordering has begun.
This does not affect any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 if the product is faulty, incorrectly supplied or does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
Cancelling an order
If you request cancellation of a standard in-stock order before dispatch because you have changed your mind, we may cancel it and issue the amount paid as Flux Boutique store credit. Store credit does not expire.
If the order has already been dispatched, our standard return conditions apply.
A refund to the original payment method will be provided where Flux Boutique cancels the order, cannot supply the product, you do not accept an additional freight charge quoted after checkout, or a refund is otherwise required under New Zealand law.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
If your product arrives damaged, is faulty, does not match its description or you receive the wrong product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at contact@fluxboutique.co.nz. Include your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where helpful.
Please do not return a faulty or damaged product until we have provided return instructions, particularly if it is fragile or oversized.
Your rights regarding faulty products are protected by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Where appropriate, we will repair the product or provide a suitable replacement. If a suitable repair or replacement cannot be provided, or a refund is otherwise required under the Consumer Guarantees Act, we will refund the original payment method.
The 14-day change-of-mind period does not limit the time available to raise a genuine claim under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Return delivery costs
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return delivery costs. Original delivery charges will not be included in any exchange or store credit.
If a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, Flux Boutique will arrange an appropriate return method.
Please package returned products securely. We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as change-of-mind returns remain your responsibility until they reach us.
Return address
Once your return has been approved, send it to:

Refund processing
We will inspect returned products after they arrive and notify you by email of the outcome.
Where a refund is approved because Flux Boutique cannot supply or replace a product, a product is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, or a refund is otherwise required under New Zealand law, it will be issued to the original payment method.
Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to process the refund.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or any other applicable New Zealand law.
