Kitchen tools divide neatly into the ones that live in a drawer and the ones that stand in a pot beside the hob. This range is mostly the second kind, which is why the material matters as much as the function. Beechwood and stainless look like they belong out, and a wooden spoon that is nice to hold gets reached for more often than the one that came in a set of eight.
A board is the piece worth spending on. Oil it every few weeks, wash it by hand, never leave it standing in water, and it will outlast three of the cheap ones. The same goes for a grinder: a decent mechanism is the difference between seasoning food and dusting it.
Tea towels and cloths are one collection over in Kitchen Linen, and serving pieces sit in Tableware & Serveware.

How do I look after a wooden board?
Hand wash in warm water, dry it standing on its edge rather than flat, and rub in food-safe oil every few weeks or whenever it looks thirsty. Never put it through the dishwasher.
Wooden or stainless utensils?
Wood for non-stick pans and anything you do not want scratched, stainless for heat and for scraping. Most kitchens want a few of each rather than a full set of either.
What is worth leaving out on the bench?
A utensil pot with the four things you use daily, a board, and salt and pepper. Everything else looks better in a drawer, and the bench stays wipeable.
Do you stock replacement brush heads?
Yes, on the Simple Things dish brushes, so the wooden handle stays and only the head is replaced.
