Sweet Chestnut Pod Bundle, Brown 57cm Faux Stems
Texture does most of the work in an autumn arrangement, and the Sweet Chestnut Pod Bundle, Brown 57cm Faux Stems brings plenty of it. Each bundle carries clusters of spiky brown pods, around 4cm across, on slender stems that stand 57cm tall.
Sweet chestnut is also known as Spanish chestnut or Castanea sativa, and its prickly seed cases are often called chestnut burrs or chestnut husks. This faux version holds that shape all year, with no dropping, drying out or sweeping up.
It is an easy gift for anyone who loves a foraged, dried-look arrangement, and a thoughtful extra tucked into a housewarming vase or an autumn birthday parcel.
Details
Colour: Brown
Length: 57cm
Pod size: approx. 4cm
Type: Faux pod stems, sold as a bundle
Why You'll Love It
- Spiky brown pods that add rustic, earthy texture
- 57cm length suits medium vases and mixed arrangements
- An unusual filler stem that gives depth to simpler florals
- No water and no upkeep
- Sits comfortably in autumnal and neutral-toned rooms
Styling the Vase
- Stand the bundle on its own in clear glass, as in our photos, so the pods and stems read as one sculptural shape.
- For a weightier look, try a speckled ceramic such as the Fort Large Vase by Ned Collections.
- Soften the spikes with a few blooms. The Tea Rose in Light Brown picks up the same warm tone.
- Mix it with the green Sweet Chestnut Pod Bundle for a two-tone, just-gathered effect.
- Use it as filler among larger stems from the Artificial Flora collection.
