Good foliage does the quiet work. It fills, it softens, and it never asks to be looked at.

The Hinterland Gum in moss green is a 73cm eucalyptus stem with small rounded leaves paired closely along dark, slender branches. The tone is deeper and more olive than most faux eucalyptus, with a faint bronze cast on the newer leaves, which is what keeps it from reading as plastic. It branches three ways from the base, so a single stem covers more width than its height suggests. If you already own greenery from our artificial flora range, this is the darker counterweight to it.

Where It Earns Its Height

  • Three stems in a tall vessel makes a full arrangement on their own, with no flowers required.
  • Use one as the backbone of a mixed bunch and build pale blooms in front of it.
  • Sits well against warm timber and stone. Try it in the Thira Stone Vase for a coastal look.
  • Pair with lighter greenery such as the Gum Drop Eucalyptus Bush to get two tones of green in one vessel.

Why You'll Love It

  • Deep moss green with a subtle bronze shift on the newer leaves
  • Branches three ways, so one stem does the work of two
  • 73cm of height without bulk
  • Reads as native New Zealand and Australian planting, which suits coastal interiors
  • Nothing to water, and no leaf drop

Common Questions

How many stems for a full vase? Three for a medium vessel, five for a floor vase. Because it branches, you need fewer than you would expect.

Will it fade? Keep it out of direct, prolonged sun and the moss tone holds. A soft dry brush every few weeks keeps dust out of the leaf joins.

Is greenery a good gift on its own? Paired with a vessel, yes. Three stems and a ceramic makes a well judged housewarming gift for someone who does not want fuss. Our coastal edit has pieces that pair naturally with it.

In short

A deeper, more grounded eucalyptus than most. Three stems and a good vessel is a finished arrangement, and it will look the same in five years as it does on the day it arrives.
