Berries do something flowers cannot. They give an arrangement structure and a bit of wildness, and they carry it through the months when everything else looks tired. This 58cm cottage berry spray is loaded with small round berries along fine branching stems, in a soft mulberry that shades through dusty pink, cream and green depending on the light.

The foliage is a mix of pointed green leaves with rust tips, which keeps it looking picked rather than manufactured. It is tall enough to carry a vase on its own and open enough to layer through something fuller without crowding it.

You may also know this kind of stem as a berry branch, privet berry or simply faux berries, so if that is what you have been searching for, this is it.

How many stems do I need?

One in a narrow necked vase gives you a loose, cottage feel. Three to five in a wider vessel builds a proper bouquet. Because the branches spread, you need fewer of these than you would of a single headed flower.

Can I bend or trim it?

Yes. The stem is wired, so you can fan the branches, bend them into a curve, or cut it down with wire cutters to suit a shorter vase.

Can I use it outside?

It is made for indoors. A covered porch out of rain and direct sun is fine, but prolonged sunlight fades any faux stem.

Why you will love it

  • Clusters of small round berries in soft mulberry, blush and cream tones
  • Fine branching stems that add structure rather than bulk
  • Green foliage with rust tipped leaves for a picked, natural look
  • Wired stem that bends, fans and trims
  • Earns its place in autumn styling and again at Christmas

Where it lives best

  • A single stem in a narrow ceramic vase on a hall table, nothing else added.
  • Three to five clustered in a wide vessel from our vase collection for a full dining table display.
  • Layered through eucalyptus or hydrangea from the artificial flora range for depth and texture.
  • Tucked into a wreath or a mantel garland in December.
  • On a kitchen shelf, where the berries read warm against pale timber and white tiles.

Gifting

Three stems tied together with a ceramic vase makes a gift that lasts past the week. It works for a housewarming, a thank you, or as the thing you bring instead of flowers. Browse the rest of our faux flowers, or get in touch if you would like a custom arrangement built.

The takeaway

A 58cm faux cottage berry spray with clusters of small mulberry berries and green, rust tipped foliage on a wired, bendable stem. It stands alone in a narrow vase, clusters into a fuller bouquet, and carries an arrangement from autumn through to Christmas.
