Better habits are easier when the tools are good enough to leave out. A proper dishcloth, a hand wash with a refill pouch waiting in the cupboard, a wooden brush that looks at home by the sink: these are the small things that make a switch stick.
This collection gathers the reusable and refillable pieces from across our brands. From Ecoya, Tahitian Lime & Grapefruit dish wash, hand wash and surface spray with 1L refill pouches, plus Wild Sage & Citrus laundry liquid, linen spray and a dryer ball set in NZ wool. Nawrap dishcloths in cotton and binchotan charcoal. Barkly Basics sponges and scourers. Dishy enamel bowls, tumblers and mugs, alongside beechwood spoons and a coffee scoop. Florence and Simple Things brushes with wooden handles.
Start with the things you replace most often, usually sponges and cloths, and work outwards from there. For everything else at the sink and in the laundry, see our cleaning and laundry range.
How do Ecoya refill pouches work?
Buy the full-size dish wash or hand wash once, then top it up from a 1L refill pouch when it runs low. The pouches come in the same Tahitian Lime & Grapefruit scent, so the bottle on the bench always matches.
Is enamelware good for everyday use?
Enamel is steel with a hard glazed coating, so it is light and handles daily use well. Dishy's white enamel bowls, tumblers and mugs are made for everyday use, but avoid dropping them on tiles, as a hard knock can chip the coating.
How often should I replace a kitchen sponge?
General guidance is every two to four weeks, sooner if it starts to smell. Rinse and squeeze it out after each use and let it dry fully between washes, and swap in a fresh Barkly Basics sponge once it starts to break down.
What are wool dryer balls for?
Wool dryer balls tumble with the washing in the dryer to keep the load separated. Ecoya's set pairs NZ wool dryer balls with Wild Sage & Citrus fragrance drops, so a few drops on each ball lightly scents the washing.
