Faux Plants

Faux greenery from small succulents to full trees, chosen for believable stems and varied leaf tones that pass the up-close test. Give each one a proper pot, bend the stems out of their box shape, and keep them out of harsh all-day sun.

A good faux plant is the one guests touch to check. Ours are chosen for realism up close: believable stem structure, varied leaf tones and shapes that hold without looking stiff.

From small succulents for shelves to full trees that anchor a corner, this is greenery for the rooms real plants refuse to live in. No watering, no light requirements, no slow decline.

Will faux plants fade in direct sunlight?
Over time, yes. Most faux foliage slowly loses colour if it sits in harsh, all-day sun, so give the sunniest spots to something ceramic and keep your greenery in bright but indirect light. Treated that way, a good faux plant holds its colour for years.

How do I clean faux plants?
A soft microfibre cloth or duster every week or two stops dust settling in. For a deeper clean, a hairdryer on the cool setting blows dust out of textured foliage, and a barely damp cloth brings broad leaves back to life.

How do I make a faux plant look real?
Three things do most of the work: a proper pot, something at the base like moss or pebbles, and a minute spent bending the stems. Straight-from-the-box symmetry is what gives fakes away. Real plants lean.

Are faux plants worth it?
For the rooms where real plants struggle, absolutely. Dark hallways, bathrooms, high shelves, baches and busy households all get permanent greenery with none of the upkeep. We choose ours for realism up close, because that is the difference between faux that convinces and faux that does not.

Do you deliver faux plants across New Zealand?
Yes, we deliver NZ wide from our Mount Maunganui store. A few oversized pieces need a freight quote first, and we sort that quickly.
