Candle Holders

A candle is a nice smell. The holder is what makes it part of the room, lit or not. This collection is the holders and the small tools that go with them, so you can build the arrangement rather than just buy the candle.

Will a standard taper candle fit the Hera holders?
Yes, the Hera Curved Black Candle Holders suit standard taper candles. If a taper wobbles in any holder, a drip of melted wax or a little candle adhesive in the base will hold it straight.

Why use a candle snuffer instead of blowing a candle out?
Blowing a candle out sends up smoke and can splash hot wax. A snuffer smothers the flame cleanly and keeps the wick intact for next time, and the Therapy black snuffer looks good enough to leave beside the candle.

Why trim a candle wick?
A long wick burns with a taller, smokier flame and can leave soot on the glass. Trimming to about five millimetres before each light keeps the flame steady and the jar clean.
