The rim rises and falls in even scallops around a shallow round base, finished in a cream stone-look cement with faint grey veining that reads like travertine from across the room.

It is cast from a blend of 60% cement and 40% white sand, which gives it a satisfying weight and a slightly matte, mineral surface. Two sizes are available, and they sit beautifully together.

Sizes

Large: approx. 30.5cm across, 3cm high

Small: approx. 20cm across

Is it real travertine?

No. It is cement and sand cast to give a natural stone look, so you get the warmth of travertine at a far gentler price. Wipe it clean with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth.

What does it suit?

The large size holds a candle, a small vase and a stack of matches with room to spare on a coffee table.
