food-huggers-set-of-5-autumn-harvest
Silicone Food Covers Set of 5 by Food Huggers, Autumn Harvest

Half an onion, the back end of a lemon, a tomato with one slice gone. These are the things that quietly turn into waste, and this is the set that stops it happening. Five flexible silicone covers in graduated sizes stretch over cut produce and hold on, so nothing needs wrapping and nothing gets forgotten at the back of the fridge.

The Autumn Harvest colourway runs through warm reds, oranges, ochre and plum, which makes them easy to spot on a shelf and easy to size by eye. Pick the cover closest to the cut face, press it on, and the silicone grips the edge. The largest also sits neatly over an open jar or tin.

What sizes are in the set?

Five pieces, XS through to XL. The smallest suits a lime, a spring onion end or a chunk of ginger. The largest takes a grapefruit, a large onion or a standard jar.

What are they made of?

Food Huggers makes them from food grade silicone, which the brand notes will not absorb odours or stain easily. The brand also states they are dishwasher safe and covers them with a lifetime warranty.

Do they replace cling film entirely?

For cut fruit and vegetables, jars and tins, yes.
